In a quarter morocco binding, with paper covered boards. 

With a signed and dedicated card of Serge Lifar inscribed to Clement Crisp tipped in. Clement Crisp was a British ballet critic for the Financial Times for over sixty years. He finally retired in 2018. 

With a frontispiece by Picasso, and 60 photographic plates, depicting Lifar in numerous ballet roles from 1924 to 1932. Many of the photographs are by Man Ray and Lipnitzki. 

Limited edition, this copy is numbered 180.

Condition

In a quarter morocco binding, with paper covered boards. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean.
