A copy of the New Testament, in Greek. With original half-title. Use of the term New Testament to describe a collection of first and second-century Christian Greek Scriptures can be traced back to Tertullian (in Against Praxeas 15).
In a calf binding. Externally, sound, though with some slight rubbing. Internally, firmly bound. Ink inscription to front free-endpaper. Pages are bright, though with some scattered instances of foxing.
