First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding

The first edition of this work. A detailed work on the recipients of the Victoria Cross, Colour illustration of the medal tipped on to the recto to the front free endpaper. Written by Rupert Stewart. Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the British Library.

Condition

In the original publisher’s cloth binding. Externally, smart. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A little fading to the spine. A few minor marks to the boards and spine. Tape to the verso of the front endpaper and the half-title page to the gutter. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some spots. Tape to the verso to the front free endpaper and title page to the gutter.
