With a folding map to the first work. 

John Drinkwater's 'A History of the Siege of Gibraltar 1779-1783' is written by the Captain in the late 72nd Regiment, or Royal Manchester Volunteers. 

'Adventures on the Road to Paris' is an excerpt from Henrich Steffens' autobiography. It has been translated from German. He was a second lieutenant in the Prussian Army. This is an account of his time in the army during the campaigns of 1813-1814. 

A smartly bound selection of works on European History. 

Condition

In a half calf binding, with cloth covered boards. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear to the joints and spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with just the odd spot.
