With details from the Jacobite rising Battle of Culloden and the War of the Austrian Succession. The letter gives details from 1745-1748 and explains various messages passed between him and the French King 'and my other curious and interesting particulars'. This work was published earlier the same year under a similar title 'Authentic account...' The second edition. ESTC reference no: T164224. A scarce work. An interesting treatise regarding European affairs during the eighteenth century.

Condition

Disbound. Externally, smart with a few light marks to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with just the odd spot.
