1945 New Zealanders in the Air War
What Our Customers Say...
Author's Presentation Copy, First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Signed, With Dustwrapper
A lovely copy in a dustwrapper and inscribed by the author. With an ink inscription from the author: To Neville O'Gwen Duke, God Bless, From Alan W. Mitchell November 1952. Illustrated with sixteen full page monochrome plates. The work details the contribution from the New Zealand airforce against the Axis Forces in the Second World War. Includes an introduction from British politician Sir Archibald Sinclair.
In a blue cloth binding in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally very smart, with some slight edgewear to the head and tail of the spine. Spine is slightly sunned. Internally firmly bound. All pictures are present but are misbound and do not correspond to the pages as stated in the contents. Pages bright and clean with just the odd spot. Dustwrapper is smart, with some chipping to the extremities of the flyleaf and the head and tail of the spine. Wrap is sunned.
