First Edition

This work is a blank verse tragedy which ran for nine nights. It was first performed at the Drury Lane Theatre on the 1st April 1788.  Actors that performed include Mr Kemple, Mr Barrymore, Mrs Siddons, and Mrs Ward.

The epilogue to this work was written by Mrs Piozzi.

Disbound. Externally, generally smart with occasional light marks to wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. The odd spot to pages.
