Scarce works. The Bell's edition of these works. A ollection of three comedic plays written in the mid eighteetnh century. Each pla illustrated with a frontispiece. 'The Alcyhmist, a Comedy', as altered from Ben Johnson, published in 1777. 'The Gamester's, a Comedy', as altered from Shirley, published in 1778. 'The Provok'd Wide, a comedy, as written by Sir John Vanburgh', published in 1777.

Condition

Disbound, with some backstrips remaining. Externally, outer leaves are age-toned with the odd spot. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with the odd spot.
