‘De Profundis’ is a letter, written by Wilde whilst he was imprisonment in Reading Gaol. The letter was written to Lord Alfred Douglas.

Illustrated with a frontispiece, and six plates.

Edited and illustrated by Peter Forster.

Written by Oscar Wilde, the infamous Irish poet and playwright, best known for his novel ‘The Picture of Dorian Grey’.

Condition

In the original publisher’s quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, fine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
