An uncommon work. In both English and French. Prior owner's inscription to the front pastedown, Misses Nicholson. The fifth edition of this work, which comprises of conversations regarding the army, travel, eating manners, nature, and dogs among many other common topics.

Condition

In a full calf binding. Externally, generally sound. Rubbing to the extremities and some loss to the head and tail of spine. Prior owner's inscription to the front pastedown, Misses Nicholson. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright. Just the odd spot.
