    Description

    Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

    Unpaginated, 65 leaves in total with 29 comic coats of arms. Each coat of arms has a description and motto. Written and illustrated by Edward Tennyson Reed, the British cartoonist. His work was first published by Punch Magazine and he was a permanent cartoonist of the publication. This work was also published as a supplementary Punch volume.

    Condition

    In a full vellum binding with red title to front board. Externally, generally smart with a small amount of rubbing to the extremities. Boards are age toned with several handling marks. Prior owner's ink signature to recto of front endpaper dated 11/3/76. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with the odd spot throughout.
