First Edition, Limited Edition, Publishers' Original Binding
Limited edition, numbered 59 of 500 copies printed. An uncommon work, particularly in this well preserved condition. This work is written by Frederick Ross, an individual who penned several works on this northern English county.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart with light bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. Light fading to the spine. Patches of light rubbing to the joints and to the rear board. Prior owner's inscription to the recto of front endpaper, Alex D H Leadman F S A 1902. Internally, generally firmly bound though strained in places. Pages are generally bright with heavy spotting to the endpapers, with occasional scattered spots to text.
