A modern re-working of Chaucer's classic 'The Nun's Priest's Tale', one of his 'Canterbury Tales'. Put into modern English by Nevill Coghill, a noted literary scholar, who is well known for his modern English version of the 'Canterbury Tales'. In the original publisher's quarter paper vellum binding with patterned paper to the boards. Externally, smart. A little discolouration to the paper vellum. A couple of light spots to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Christmas card with a couple of light spots.
