The original paper wraps are bound in.

A collection of short verses that are here wrong attributed to Pythagoras. However the true author of the verses are unknown.

These verses were greatly popular during late antiquity.

With the popular commentary of the work by Hierocles of Alexandria.

Edited and translated into French by Mario Meunier.

Condition

In a quarter vellum binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, smart. A little discolouration and some minor marks to the vellum, as is usual. Light spots to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very small repairs to the head of the front wrap.
