With an engraved frontispiece and title page from designs by noted engraver and illustrator of the 17th/18th centuries, Thomas Stothard. Comprising of six plays by the Roman playwright. Terence's comedies were first performed around 170-160BC. Containing 'Andria', 'Heautontimorumenos', 'Eeunuchus', 'Adelphi', 'Hecrya' and 'Phormio'. A very smart copy of these plays.
In a full calf binding. Externally, very smart. Light rubbing to the joints and to the extremities. Minor marks to the rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
