Condition
In the original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally sound. Bumping to the head and tail of the spine, and also to the extremities. Patches of rubbing to the boards. Small split to the front volume joint of I to the tail, no more than 2cm. Back strip is lifting to the head of volume II. Two additional labels to the spines of each volume. Ex libris bookplate to the front pastedown of each volume. Front and rear hinges are lightly strained to volume II. Front hinge to volume I is tender. Internally generally firmly bound. Pages are generally clean with spots to the front and rear endpapers.
