What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, With Dustwrapper

Both works are the first edition. In the original unclipped dustwrappers. Joseph Heller was an American author, perhaps best known for his satirical war work, Catch-22, the name of which has become a synonym for an absurd or impossible choice. God Knows is a tragi-comedy, and is a fictional memoir of King David of Israel. Despite its different setting the work contains many of the same themes of absurdity as Catch-22. Picture This is another satirical work, this time offering a historical journey across multiple periods of history, all connected by the same Rembrandt painting.

Condition

In the original cloth bindings in the original unclipped dustwrappers. Externally in excellent condition with minor shelf wear only. Dustwrapper is in excellent condition with shelf wear and slight bumping to the head and tail of the spines. Publisher's label to rear of Picture This. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with marginal age toning. The odd spot to the fore edge of God Knows.
