The first edition of this work. Held in the original publisher's unclipped dustwrapper. A collection of short stories and poems by Rudyard Kipling. Including the stories and poems 'Dayspring Mishandled', 'The Church That Was at Antioch', 'Akbar's Bridge', 'Fairy-Kist', 'Dinah in Heaven', 'Naaman's Song', 'Azrael's Court', 'Song of Seventy Horses', and many more. Rudyard Kipling is best known for his novel 'The Jungle Book', however he was a prolific writer of poems, novels, and short stories. Being born in India inspired much of his work, and he went on to become one of the most popular writers of his time. Kipling became the Lord Rector of St Andrews University in 1922.
In the original publisher's cloth binding, held in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Very minor edgewear to the dustwrapper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
