A very scarce work in the original pictorial paper wraps, bound with a plastic binding comb. A lecture on the history and development of the Somerset Levels with particular emphasis on peat extraction and the consequences of this practice. Illustrated throughout with reproductions of diagrams and photographs.

Condition

In the original pictorial paper wraps, bound with a plastic binding comb. Externally smart, with just one of the teeth coming loose to the plastic binding comb. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
