Very scarce. Illustrated with forty plates (collated complete). 'A purely practical work intended for architects, joiners, cabinet-makers, marble-workers, decorators as well as for the owners of houses who wish to have them ornamented by artisans of their own choice.' The plates depict various doors, vestibules, and many other architectural designs. Text is in English and French.
Condition
In a cloth binding. Externally, worn, with backstrip missing and both boards detached. Rubbing to the boards. Internally, binding failed, with leaves detached. Institutional labels to front boards, and bookplate to front free-endpaper. Pages have some marginal age-toning and instances of foxing, with some institutional blindstamping. There is some chipping to the first page of text.
