Two volumes of 'Survey of London', Volumes XXXVI and XXXVII of the series.
'Survey of London' is an extensive research project founded in 1894, intended to produce an architectural survey of London and its suburbs.
Volume XXXVI, 'The Parish of St. Paul, Covent Garden', published in 1970. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, two folding maps, eighty-four plates, and many in-text illustrations. Collated, complete.
Volume XXXVII, 'Northern Kensington', published in 1974. Illustrated with a frontispiece, one folding map, one folding plate, one-hundred and twelve places, and many in-text illustrations. Collated, complete.
The general editor at this time was F. H. W. Sheppard.
Lacking dustwrappers.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Some minor marks to the boards and spines. Light fading to the spines. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
