    In six volumes, being the complete 'The History of England' from a twelve volume set of Macaulay's complete works.

    Illustrated with a frontispiece to each volume.

    Written by Thomas Babington Macaulay, a historian and Whig politician, who is best known for this work, a seminal work.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. Some minor marks to the boards and spines. Spots to the fore edges. A little fading to the spines. Front hinge of Volume V is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with a few spots.
