Volume I illustrated with a frontispiece, vignette title page, and seventeen plates. Collated, complete.

Volume II illustrated with a frontispiece, vignette title page, and sixteen plates. Collated, complete.

Written by Joseph Allen.

Prior owner's ink inscriptions to the verso to the front endpapers and to the recto to the front free endpapers.

Condition

In a full calf Bickers binding. Externally, generally smart. Light marks to the boards and spines. A little bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. Spines are a touch faded. Rear board of Volume I is lightly discoloured. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with just a couple of light spots.
