Bookplate to the front pastedown, 'John Tennant'. Prior owner's ink inscription to the head of the title page, 'Charles Tennant'.
In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Joints are a little cracked. Light surface cracks to the spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, resulting in a small amount of loss to the head and tail of the spine. Light rubbing and minor marks to the boards. Bookplate to the front pastedown. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with some spots.
