Very scarce. An interesting work of world history, explore the current state of Europe in the mid-19th century and the subsequent impact on the United States of America. This work of global history is written by Francis J. Grund, the noted journalist who published numerous works in relation to the socio-politcal climate of America. With the previous owners ink inscription to the front pastedown of 'Louis M Wilfson'.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally sound, with a small amount of loss to the head and tail of the spine and light bumping to the extremities. Large crack to the front joint. Heavy offsetting to the front and rear endpapers, with a ink inscription to the front endpaper. Front hinge is lightly strained. Internally firmly bound. Pages are lightly age toned to the extremities.
