A very scarce work. An interesting collection of pamphlets discussing the relationship between the church and state in America. This era of American history was a time of evolution, sitting in between the period of the American Revolution and the Civil War. He is best known for his encyclopedia, 'Gazetteer of the Persian Gulf, Oman and Central Arabia'.
