With two folding plates showing statistical tables. Written by Arthur Young. Young was an agriculturist, and writer on economics and social statistics. Though he wasn't successful as a farmer himself, he built a reputation for being an expert on agricultural improvement. With an introduction by Sir John Sinclair. Sinclair was a Scottish politician and is best known for his work 'Statistical Account of Scotland'.
