This work is a reprint of the Dublin periodical 'The Patriot'. The periodical was originally published in seven volumes, from the 25th October 1753 to the 6th December 1753.
'The Patriot' is a political periodical, intended to stir the Irish patriots to rise up against the English.
In the original paper wraps. Externally, generally smart. Prior owner's ink inscription to the front wrap. A small amount of loss to the head and tail of the spine. A little discolouration to the wraps. A few light marks to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age-toned and clean with a few light spots. Small chip to the margins of pages 25 to 34, not affecting text. Misbound, with duplicate pages 9 to 16 bound between pages 16 and 25.
