First published in 1870, De L'Intelligence was one of Taine's major works, focusing on the discipline of psychology. In quarter morocco bindings with school armorial boards. Externally, smart with some rubbing and dampstaining to boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright with some scattered spots.
