Written by Dinah Craik, who is best remembered now for her novel 'John Halifax, Gentleman'. Illustrated by J. E. Rogers.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. A little bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Minor marks to the boards and spine. Loss to the head of the front endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some spots. Small tidemark to the head of the frontispiece.
