    Description

    Colour Plates, Illustrated, Leather Binding, Limited Edition, Signed, Very Scarce

    A vanishingly scarce limited edition, dated from the British Library. 150 copies were bound in parchment, numbered and signed by the artist, this being number 9. Rebound in full vellum with gilt lettering. Signed by the illustrator to the limitations page. With a frontispiece and fifteen full page, colour illustrations by Hans Feibusch. Collated complete. Feibusch was a German painter and sculptor who is best known for his murals, particularly in Anglican churches. 'The Revelation of Saint John the Divine', also known as the 'Book of Revelation' is the final book in the New Testament and Christian Bible.

    Condition

    In full vellum. Externally, smart with some rubbing to the extremities. Minor marks to the boards and spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean. Illustrator's ink signature to the limitations page.
