What Our Customers Say...
Description
Publishers' Original Binding
Comprising No. 1573 'Herbert Hoover - the Fatuous Failure in the White House' and no. 1672 'Herbert Hoover's Record Before He Became President'.
These small books were published from 1919 to 1978 and sold hundreds of millions of copies; they contained literature, knowledge, ideologies, and adventure, covering classics such as Goethe, Shakespeare, Ancient Greek literature, H. G. Wells, as well as contemporary political, philosophical and scientific questions and explorations. Being the size and lightness they were, these pamphlets easily fit into pockets and were extremely portable.
Edited and published by Emanuel Haldeman-Julius (1889-1951), a Jewish-American socialist writer, editor and publisher. He was questioned by the FBI following his publication regarding the FBI, and was later found guilty of income tax evasion and sentenced to half a year in prison; he drowned the month following this. However, his son took over the publishing house and continued to publish until the printing house burned down in 1978.
Herbert Clark Hoover (1874-1964) served as the 31st President of the United States of American between 1929 and 1933, during the onset of the Great Depression.
An exciting political exploration of the Herbert Hoover's political agenda and rule over the U.S.A as President.
