    This work is Volume XXVI in Lonsdale's Library of Sports, Games, and Pastimes.

    The Lonsdale Keeper's Book is a comprehensive guide to game-keeping, with information on hand rearing, winter feeding, how to rear pheasants in large numbers, whether dry or wet food is better, the rearing and management of wild duck, game shooting, the duties of a river keeper, and more.

    With a frontispiece and a further twenty-three plates.

    Collated and complete. 

    Edited by Eric Parker, who was the sometime editor-in-chief of 'The Field'.

    With contributions by various well-known keepers and game farmers, Frank Wallace, and Eric Taverner.

    Enclosed in the original pictorial dust wrapper. 

    Undated, dated from JISC and WorldCat.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart, with some light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Light tidemark to the tail of the front board. Original unclipped dust wrapper is very smart, with some very light chipping to the head of the back strip and a few small spots to the back strip. Internally, firmly bound. A few spots to the first and last few pages, otherwise pages are bright and clean.
