Description

Decorative Binding, Illustrated

Illustrated throughout, with numerous vignette drawings of various flowers by the author. In a lovely full calf binding. Undated, dated using Copac. Written by T Ernest Waltham, a member of the South London Botanical Institute and the Gilbert White fellowship.

Condition

In a full calf prize binding with gilt stamping to the spine and boards. Externally, very smart with a small amount of light rubbing to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. Spine has faded. A few marks to boards. Prize bookplate to the front pastedown, for Preparatory School, Sedbergh. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright. Occasional light scattered spots to pages.
