Anatole France was a very successful French poet, journalist, and novelist, winner of the 1921 Nobel Prize in Literature. He was considered to be the ideal French man of letters in his time.

Condition

Rebound in half diced calf binding over marbled boards, gilt lettering to spine. Externally smart with light fading to back strip, gentle shelf wear. Small bookseller sticker to rear pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
