    Colour Plates, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

    Famous fairy tales by Hans Andersen collected in this large paper volume, published by Boots the Chemist, first thus. Dated from Jisc. Containing beloved stories such as 'The Little Mermaid,' 'The Emperor's New Clothes,' and 'The Ugly Duckling' as well as lesser-known tales such as 'Elfin-Mount' and 'The Naughty Boy.' 

    Featuring sixteen full page plates in colour as well as numerous black and white illustrations. Collated, complete.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally generally smart with shelf wear, bumped to head and tail of spine, damp marks to rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to fore edge, affecting first and last few leaves particularly, otherwise pages generally bright and clean throughout.
