Containing a previous owner's ink inscription to the front free-endpaper: 'To Jo, with fond love, from Auntie'.
Condition
In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding with pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, some shelf wear to the boards and bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. A few light marks to the front board and tidemarks to the rear board. Previous owner's ink inscription to the front free-endpaper. Internally, front hinge is starting to the head, and binding is slightly tender. Rear free-endpaper has been amateurly removed. Pages are bright and clean throughout.
