Description
Colour Plates, Decorative Binding, Illustrated
A collection of medieval-style lyric poetry. Contains twelve tales, including 'Our Lady of the Buttercups', 'Sir Hugh', 'The Lonely Isle', 'Lilith' and 'The Six Saints of Healing'.
Profusely illustrated with full colour plates, vignette sketches and tipped in illustrations by Evelyn Paul (1883-1963), known for her style which emulates medieval illuminations.

Condition
In a full cloth binding with an illustrated cover. Externally generally smart, some chipping to the head and tail of the spine and fading to the spine. Internally firmly bound, pages bright and clean.
