    Colour Plates, Early Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

    An early printing of this work, dated c1912 due to the presence of first edition endpapers, but no date to the title page. Timmy Tiptoes was first published in 1911.

    'The Tale of Timmy Tiptoes' follows a squirrel who is believed to be a nut-thief by his friend, who then imprison him in a hollow tree with the hope that we will confess.

    Illustrated with twenty-seven colour plates by Potter. Collated, complete.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original paper covered boards. Externally, fine. Internally, firmly bound. Binding a touch strained. Pages exceptionally clean and bright.
