    A new edition. Dated from similar copies. In the the publisher's full pictorial cloth binding. With a colour frontispiece and twenty-seven plates by Edmund Dulac. Collated complete. A collection of stories from The Arabian Nights, retold by Laurence Housman. Including classic stories such as 'Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp' and 'Sinbad the Sailor'. Previous owner's gift inscription to the front free endpaper.

    Condition

    In full cloth original binding. Externally, very smart with some light shelf wear to the edges and bumping to the spine. Spine is darkened. A few marks to the boards. Ink inscription to the front free endpaper. Offsetting to the free endpapers. Rear hinge is strained but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean with the odd spot and handling mark. Offsetting to page 13 and page 137.
