What Our Customers Say...
Description
Very Scarce
A unique album, containing photographs of model trains, engines, cars, vans and boats, and even a model zeppelin. With thirty-eight photographs.
Particularly fascinating images include a 1/15 scale horizontal engine, the display stand of a model engineering society, and a curious model zeppelin.
To the rear of the volume is an image of a full size LSWR train. The London and South Western Railway was a railway company in England that ran from1838 to 1922.
To the front pastedown is the contemporary owner's inscription of 'G. A. Geffery, Birmingham'.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. Light bumping to extremities, and spine head and tail, resulting in small split to head of front joint. Some fading to spine panel. Contemporary owner's inscription to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Photo-degradation due to age to some of the images, resulting in loss of definition.
