Uniformly bound in a full decorative cloth binding this is a lovely example of this set of works compiled and edited by the Scottish born schoolteacher and author Samuel Neil. Condition
Bound in decorative green cloth binding. Externally, smart, with some fading to the cloth binding and bumping to the heads and tails of the spines and extremities. Volume 5 has tidemarks to the front board and Volume 2 has tidemarks to the rear board. An ink mark to the front and rear board of Volume 5, and a couple ink marks to the rear board of Volume 1. Internally, the front hinges to Volume 2 and Volume 5 are starting slightly but remain firm. All volumes remain firmly bound. Front free-endpaper to Volume 2 is absent. A few spots and handling marks to the first few pages of each volume, but otherwise pages are bright and clean.
