Bleak House is one of Charles Dickens' most popular novels, with a vastly complicated plot and an immense cast of characters revolving around the long-running case of Jarndyce vs Jarndyce in the Court of Chancery. 

This novel helped support a reform movement in the judiciary system that led to the enactment of legal reform in the 1870.

Condition

In full morocco binding with decorative embossing to boards, gilt to spine. Externally smart with minor shelf wear, light chipping to head of spine, back strip faded, boards only lightly warped. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
