Illustrated, with ten plates of photographs and portraits. Receipt loosely inserted indicates prior owner to be Mr C J B Proudman of Brislington Bristol. Receipt is for his purchase of this bok from Serendipity Books, Nedlands, Australia in 2004. A brief account of the Wittenoom family, who left England in 1829. It begins with the Reverend John Burdett Wittenoom and those who accompanied him on the voyage to Swan River Colony. They arrived at Fremantle on January 30, 1830. John Burdett Wittenoom was the second Anglican clergyman to perform religious services in the Swan River Colony, Australia. To the appendix are letters from members of the Whittenoom family.
Condition
In a green cloth binding. Externally, smart with spotting and handling marks to boards. Small amount of bumping to the head and tail of spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
