A catalogue of keys, bolts, locks, escutcheons, hinges, door handles, door knockers and door plates, designed and manufactured by the French hardware company Maison Sterlin, now known as Bricard Serrurerie d'Art. Makers of luxurious door fixings, Maison Sterlin was founded in 1782.
Undated, dated from copies held at the Bibliothèque nationale de France.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with shelf wear to the extremities and to the head and tail of the spine. Small tear to the tail of the spine. Front hinge is slightly strained, and the rear hinge is starting, but both are firmly held. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Cuts made to the first 6 leaves, not affecting the plates, and to the last leaf, which has left a hole in the middle of the plate.
