A very scarce and very interesting pamphlet in its original paper wraps. Held institutionally by one library only.

This volume was read in substance to the Members of the Kent Archaeological Society on the occasion of their visit to Eltham in the summer of 1899, and has been printed with the author's purpose to give more information on Eltham Palace at an affordable price.

Proposing a short and popular account of the mediaeval Palace that would be welcomed by the inhabitants of the Parish and its neighbourhood.

Eltham Palace has to this day the third largest type of hammerbeam roof in England, with an Art Deco interior that has been described as a "masterpiece of modern design." The house is now managed by the English Heritage.
