Description
Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding
Undated, dated using inscription to front pastedown. A lovely work, in the original French. Illustrated throughout, with many examples of various embroidery techniques. Issued as a part of a library of works from textile company, and embroidery cotton manufacturer, DMC or Dolfus-Mieg and Company, from Mulhouse, France. This work has examples of embroidered letters, numbers, monograms and other ornaments.
Condition
In original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with bumping to the extremities. Light scattered spots to the boards. Prior owner's inscription to the front pastedown, Catherine M P Hill, 17th August 1927. Internally, firmly bound. Heavy spotting to the first and last few pages, otherwise just the odd spot.
