The science of palmistry became greatly popular in the Victorian era due to the figure Cheiro, who was well known for his pivotal studies. 

Illustrated with a frontispiece, and twenty plates, by Rosamund Brunel Horsley. 

Collated, complete.

Condition

In the original publisher's paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart, with a little discolouration and marking to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the spine and extremities. A very small amount of loss to the rear board. Rear hinge is starting but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with just a couple of odd spots. Prior owner's ink inscription to the half-title.
