What Our Customers Say...

Description

Very Scarce

In the original pictorial paper wraps. In this charming guide, Major Morant gives advice on how to keep laying hens in confinement and in large numbers, and on hatching and rearing chickens in confinement. He also provides a guide to the different breeds of fowls. Fascinating advertisements to the front and rear of the volume, with a further 13 pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear.

Condition

In the original pictorial paper wraps. Externally very smart, with good colour. Some wear to the spine, including a small loss to the tail of the spine. A small closed tear to the front of the wrap, not affecting the text. The staples have rusted and left small stains and slits to the front and rear of the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean except for a little staining from the rusting staples to the first few pages.
