Leather Binding, Rebound

Four novels by J. G. Whyte-Melville, Scottish novelist concerned with field sports, and poet. Containing new editions of Rosine, Black but Comely, Roy's Wife, and Sister Louise, in uniform half crushed morocco bindings. Dated from new editions on Copac.

Condition

In uniform half straight up grain morocco bindings over marbled boards, five raised bands, gilt tooling to spine, renewed marbled endpapers and gilt to top edge. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear, only minor marks to spine and and rubbing to extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting affecting first and last few leaves, otherwise pages generally bright and clean.
